Thy Kingdom Come is a call to Prayer and Action
In the week leading up to Pentecost Sunday, Thy Kingdom Come calls us to pray for people to come to know Jesus Christ.
During this special week of prayer running from 8-15 May, Thy Kingdom Come is about taking time to intentionally connect with God on behalf of those who don’t yet know Jesus and to pray for the mission of the local church.
LIFTUP, the national prayer enabling ministry of Elim, is challenging Elim churches to get involved and add their heartfelt prayers for evangelism, mission, witness and an outpouring of God’s Spirit to transform our communities, villages, towns and cities.
Some prayer ideas for the week include holding a special prayer meeting, prayer walking your community or committing to pray each day for 5 friends to come to know Jesus.

Archbishop Justin Welby and Archbishop John Sentamu are just some of the leaders inviting Christians nationwide to pray for evangelism this Pentecost.
Let’s be united in prayer across our nation for our nation.
