Marty Davison appointed as Elim’s new International Missions Director

Following Iain Hesketh's return to local church ministry in 2023 after serving as Elim's International Missions Director for five years, Elim’s National Leadership Team is pleased to announce the appointment of Marty Davison.

Marty and his wife Rebeca were Elim Missionaries in Maues, Brazil, for 14 years where Marty brought his expertise as a dentist to the Amazon, serving the local communities in Maues while also assisting Pastor Tinho (Rebeca’s brother) in the leadership of the local church.

Returning to the UK, Marty has pastored Gateway Elim Church in Yate for the last 8 years and will be take up his new role as Elim's International Missions Director at the beginning of September 2024.

Commenting on his appointment, Marty said, “God has put a burning passion within me for Missions. I love seeing lives transformed as they are impacted by the gospel message outlived in the power of the Holy Spirit. Coming alongside others and helping them be all that God has called them to be as they go fills me with much joy!

“I am delighted and feel very honoured to serve as International Missions Director and look forward to working with Elim Missions as we partner together with the movement to advance His Kingdom in this nation and beyond.”

We look forward to welcoming Marty to the Elim Missions team located at the Elim International Centre in Malvern, where he will bring his passion and experience to this key role within the Elim Movement.

Please join us in praying for Marty and Rebeca as they transition away from Gateway Church, for the church as they say farewell and begin their search for a new pastor.
