Regent's Theological College graduation 2015
One of the highlights of year for Regent's Theological College is the Regents’ Graduation Ceremony which this year was held on Saturday 7 November 2015 at the Great Malvern Priory.
The event proudly celebrated the achievements of the college students. And for those in the Elim family, 2015 was a truly significant year as we celebrated one hundred years since the birth of the Elim Pentecostal Church.
Those who graduated only did so through the help and support of many others around them. So the graduation service was a opportunity to thank family members, local churches and friends, who have walked alongside them and supported each of them through their studies.
During the graduation ceremony, testimonies were given by Emma Weyman, Dan Weyman, Adam Boud and Illeana Hrisca, followed with the address by Rev John Glass.
Commissioning Day
Earlier in the year, over 300 students and guests gathered for the RTC Commissioning Service which saw 52 leaving students commissioned on 6 June. View the photo gallery to see the students leaving this year.
Study opportunities at Regents
Regents Theological College has been the national training centre of the Elim Pentecostal Church since it was founded, in 1925, as Elim Bible College. Pentecostal pioneer George Jeffreys launched the College in response to the need of the fledgling movement for trained pastors. Today, the original vision has broadened, as Regents equips men and women for a variety of Christian service within and beyond the Elim Church.
The college is committed to preparing men and women for effective ministry in the Elim Movement, in the wider Church, and in the world beyond. Its mission is to ensure that its students, whether studying full time or part time, grow in their knowledge of God and His Word, and develop in their practical skills and in Christian character.
Many of the college students enter full-time church ministry, others fulfil the call of God through vocations in para-church organisations, education and other professions.
Regents offers one, two and three year full-time university validated courses in Applied Theology as well as the option of part-time study. Find out about these and other available courses at regents-tc.ac.uk.
