Rugby player Garin Jenkins shares his story

Former Welsh hard man Garin Jenkins (58 caps, 1991-2002) will be among the guests at an MPOWER men's breakfast hosted at Porth Rugby Club on Saturday 3rd October.

Garin is Wales Rugby Union's most capped hooker and can been seen here talking about the joy he had playing rugby, but the temporary nature of a professional sportspersons career and how this is echoed in the temporary nature of life.

Engage Rugby World Cup Resources

The above video is one of an extensive set of resources available from the Engage Media Hub, created by Engage 2015 in partnership with Christians in Sport, Christian Vision for Men, HOPE, and Scripture Union.

These are designed for churches to use rugby to engage with their communities and include ten three-minute testimonies by high-profile Christian rugby players including England’s Billy Vunipola and South Africa’s Ruan Pienaar.

There is a video covering the Christian roots of Rugby Union, and evangelistic presentations featuring Roy Crowne and Rico Tice designed for guest events.

The Engage Media Hub’s initial offerings can be found at www.engagemediahub.com and church resources can be found at www.engage2015.co.uk
