Elim churches join the National Week of Prayer from 12-20 October 2024

Join together in faith for a transformative week of prayer

As the body of Christ, Elim Pentecostal Churches are thrilled to announce our participation in the National Week of Prayer (NWOP), taking place from 12-20 October 2024. This week presents a unique opportunity for Christians across the UK and beyond to gather, humble ourselves, and pray for lives to be transformed by Jesus. Together, we will seek a spiritual awakening in our nations.

A collective call to prayer

NWOP invites Christians from all traditions, denominations, and communities to unite in prayer. It’s a time to reflect on the good things God has done and is doing in our lives and our country. Through thanksgiving, worship, and praise, we return to Him and reaffirm our commitment to His purpose.

This week is not just about individual prayer; it’s about a collective movement of faith, powered by the Holy Spirit. It’s a moment for the UK to return to God and flourish in our identity found in Him.

Why you should participate

In these challenging times, the National Week of Prayer serves as a vital reminder of the power of unified prayer. Whether you’re praying individually, with your family, or as part of a church community, your participation is essential. Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Pray personally: Dedicate time each day to pray for specific needs in your community, nation, and the world.
  • Join church gatherings: Encourage your church to host prayer meetings throughout the week, fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration.
  • Engage with others: Connect with fellow believers, sharing insights and prayers, and inviting others to join the movement.

Let’s make a difference together

No matter who you are or where you are, NWOP is your chance to intercede for our leaders, our nation, and the world. Together, we can let faith rise and become vessels of change, allowing God’s light to shine through us.

Join us in this powerful week of prayer, and let’s commit to seeking God’s face and listening to His heart for our nation.
