Our Elim partners in Pakistan have seen brothers and sisters in the faith affected with 21 churches and approximately 200 homes being burnt by a large mob of Muslims. Victimised pastors and families have had to go into hiding for their safety.
There have been unsubstantiated accusations of blasphemy, with no proof whatsoever being brought forward. A number of pastors and their families have no shelter, no food and no housing; all their possessions having been burnt and lost.
Our partners and their team in the area close to where this is taking place are seeking to provide secure support, having already hosted 10 families.
