You need to be 16 years of age, or older, at the time of the event. There is no upper age limit for serving on team. If you're able to do the task you've signed up to then you are welcome!
There are some rolls which you cannot be on if you are under 18 or 25 respectivly. Please see the team descriptions for more information.

If you are under 18 and coming, we require you to come with a group, either all serving on team or attending as guests.

Your referee needs to be someone who has had leadership authority over you. This preferably needs to be a youth leader, or senior leader but we will also accept a work manager or a school teacher.

Your referee needs to have known you for at least 1 year.

Unfortunately not. Please select another team to serve with us.

Once you’ve submitted your application we send a request to your referee. They receive a link in an email and this leads to an online form. Once this has been filled in, we send your reference and application to the team leader to read through and approve.

When this process is done we then apply for DBS checks. These can take a while. If this comes back clear, then and only then, can we accept you to serve on team.

Please bear with us. As you can see, there’s a lot more going on than filling in a form and all of this takes time to process. We will be in touch at various points asking for more information. We will let you know the outcome of your application as soon as possible.

You can express an interest to serve with your friends. However, everyone needs to apply individually. We advise you apply as early as possible. Please put the names of the people you want to serve on team with in the comments section of the application form.

Whilst we will try our best to accommodate this, we cannot promise that we will be able too.

For the smooth running of the event, we need all team members and youth leaders to be fully committed to their role. If you think you can make this work then we would love to hear from you. Please take a look through the teams to see which would be appropriate.

We aim for people to work 8 hours a day. In some roles this is not always possible.

Sometimes you will be asked to complete this with the time being split across the day and sometimes it will be in one go. Every team works differently.

We try to make sure you can attend 1 main meeting every day. Your team leader will arrange rotas and these will be sent out to you or given to you on-site.

We aim to put you on your first choice of team. However, this is not always possible.

We will never put you on a team that you’ve not requested to be on without contacting you first.

Yes! You will get fed all week! Your team leader will make sure that you get to eat.

Most importantly, please make sure that you have let us know of any dietary requirements you have.
