Sometimes it’s just good to have a different set of eyes helping you to see things from a different perspective.

When it comes to evangelism do you have a lack of skills or confidence that may also be reflected in your leaders and your church? If the answer’s yes, then you’re not alone! The culture and mindset of many churches are so deeply entrenched that leaders find it hard to look at evangelistic initiatives as something they can implement successfully.

We believe the calling of an evangelist is not just to preach, but also to teach and inspire everyone in their evangelism, by creating and encouraging an evangelism culture that is simple, healthy and transformative.

Phil Worthington

Phil Worthington is an Elim Minister, and Evangelism Culture Lead. He is also the author of the 'Church Phrasebook' an evangelistic welcome resource for your church, which is due to be released soon.

We believe that every Christian is called to evangelise, but not everyone feels comfortable in that identity. So Phil's teaching focuses on making the complicated simple, on building confidence, and encouraging Christians to see themselves as Citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven.

 I teach the simple realities of Christianity: that seeking His Kingdom first and living righteously, transforms, informs and empowers us, and releases us from the burden of trying to do it all in our own strength.

Every Christian can understand the Bible, every Christian can be an evangelist, every Christian can do amazing things in Jesus - not because of how great we are, but because of how great He is.
