International Missions Director

Elim Missions is the Missions Department of the Elim Movement, UK. It exists to serve the missionary vision of Elim by:

  1. standing alongside our missionary sending churches;
  2. facilitating the sending of missionaries and developing mission activity across the Movement;;
  3. working with our Elim Global partners to advance the gospel across the world.


Elim Global is a disciple-making movement with strategies for church planting and leadership development in every nation

The role of the International Missions Director can be divided into 3 sections: The UK Office and Churches, The Elim Missionaries, The Elim Global network. As International Missions Director, you report directly to the General Superintendent and you will lead the UK Missions department in 2 offices. The current team comprises 5 full time, 9 part time and 4 volunteers.

Other duties include:

  • Developing the vision of Elim International Missions;
  • Engaging the other UK Elim departments with Elim Global;
  • Responsible for the Pastoring of the Missionaries, in 2018 there are 79. Daily social media connections/emails; regular skype calls and visits;
  • Financial management of overall Missions budget. Responsible to raise the money needed to run the total office (salaries etc) and balance the Elim Missions budget each year. Further responsibility to raise funds for missionaries, projects and churches overseas;
  • Promotion of Elim overseas to the UK Churches through presentations/preaching on Sundays; working with leadership teams on Mission strategies; engaging every Elim UK Church into missions;
  • Lead the Team of 10 Regional Mission Representatives. This is currently done by a quarterly Skype business meeting and then an annual meeting at the Elim International Centre. Their role is engagement with the UK Churches;
  • Bring oversight to the work done in engaging the Regents students with missions;
  • Responsibility for and full participation in the Missionary Academy. This involves teaching and being available throughout the year for their missionary profile development in preparation for their commissioning in June each year;
  • In consultation with the NLT to bring a level of leadership in to the Elim Global movement. This involves building relationships with the National heads (in 2018 there are 69); planning and leading several continental conferences each year; responding to their contacts to you;
  • Writing reports and articles for social media platforms, Direction/Elim Life;
  • Being an ambassador for Elim UK overseas and representing the GS and NLT in many forums;
  • Regular reporting to the NLT via written and verbal reports.

Academic Administration Supervisor

Regents Theological College is the National Training Centre of the Elim Pentecostal Church and one of the leading Pentecostal Bible Colleges in Europe. It provides a range of theology courses at undergraduate, masters and doctorate levels, all validated by the University of Chester.

Situated in 35 acres of stunning countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the slopes of the Malvern Hills, the College is nearing 300 students, about half of whom live on campus. Graduating students move into a variety of careers including Christian ministry, teaching, social work, business and the arts.

Duties and Responsibilities

To oversee the coordination of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate administrative processes for the College incorporating all undergraduate students from initial registration, ongoing registration through to assessment and graduation.

To act as team Leader in overseeing the work of the PG Administrator, Administrative Assistant, and associated faculty office staff.

As Academic Administration Supervisor you will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Student Administration;
  • College Portal;
  • Assessment Set Up and Marking Processes
  • Timetable and Assesment Schedules.

Limitless Events and Operations Leader

Limitless is the national youth department of the 550 Elim Pentecostal Churches in the UK &Ireland. They exist to reach young people, equip youth leaders and inspire dynamic youth ministry through the local church, by offering a range of activities including national and regional youth events, training programmes (up to degree level), resources and church consultancy.

Limitless is looking for a highly motivated, action-oriented person to take a senior position in our team. This an opportunity for anyone who wants to know that their work results in transformed lives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key elements of the role include:

  • Take the lead role in organising and running the Limitless national events including Limitless Festival, The Gathering and Limitless Leaders*;
  • Assisting the Limitless Regional Leaders in organising Limitless Oxygen and Limitless One events;
  • Budget setting, monitoring administration, and related activities to ensure events come within agreed budget;
  • Correspond with local churches, pastors and youth leaders in organising and promoting events;
  • Liaise with conference venues and events managers to make events arrangements, including contract negotiation;
  • Negotiate and coordinate schedules of work with contractors from a variety of ?elds including graphic design, web design, ?lm makers, catering suppliers, hoteliers, vehicle hire, audio visual companies, rides & attractions, promoters, bands and performers;
  • Ensure event policies, documentation and procedures are in place, e.g. Health and Safety, Risk Assessments, Operations Manuals, Insurances etc;
  • Ensure all events fully adhere to Child Protection policies;
  • Book and organise event contributors;
  • Sell exhibition spaces, organise exhibitors;
  • Create and update project tracker documents to ensure tasks and deadlines are met;
  • Formulate and execute promotional strategies for events, utilising multiple social media platforms to do so;
  • Think creatively around events content;
  • Recruit, organise and manage teams of volunteers in a Christian context, which should include creating opportunities to pray together;
  • Work closely with the Limitless Administrative Assistant on events administration;
  • Work closely with the Limitless Social Media Coordinator on events promotion;

Academic Administrative Assistant

  • system;
  • Provide help with the HESA data input in order to meet the external HESA deadlines;
  • Provide input support for the forthcoming Data futures work;
  • Ensure attendance registers are provided and filed and registers updated to the database;
  • The scanning of examination papers for external examiner moderation;
  • Provide Support for Database input and maintenance throughout the year;
  • Assist with admissions data input when required;
  • Provide support with complying with GDPR activities where required;
  • To undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as determined by the Faculty Administrative Coordinator such agreement should not be unreasonably withheld.
