New Church Leadership Academy

Launching in autumn 2016, the Church Leadership Academy is a new type of learning community for church leaders and leadership teams. It's designed for those wanting to be intentional about moving the church forward into the next season of health and growth within their location.

Taking place across four residentials over two years, Elim Training aims for leadership teams to will learn and move forward on a journey to healthy and sustainable growth and practices in your church and ministry.

What does the course cover?

Gathering ministers and leadership teams from all over Elim in the UK, to learn and move forward together, the Church Leadership Academy will be facilitated by experienced leaders Mark Ryan, Steve Ball, Dave Ayling and Jason Heron. In addition there will be expert input from international leaders inside and outside of the Elim movement to bring the very best insights and practices.

Our two year journey with local church leadership teams will include four areas examining:

  • Vision and Strategies for Growth
  • Leadership Development and Discipleship
  • Mission and Evangelism
  • Stewardship and Organisational Change

The focus of the first gathering will set the tone and lay the foundation for our journey together, as Elim Training set visionary goals for your team we will then see how they play through the other areas to be examined later. We are delighted to be joined by a wealth of national Elim leaders, city church pastors who have pastored and led churches from the early stages of growth into larger churches of influence and they will be sharing some of what they have learnt along the way.
